I am a product designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Most recently at Replicant and Stitch Fix. Currently available for freelance.

Hello! I am a designer with 10 years of experience in product thinking, concepting, UI design, and user research. I've worked with brands of all sizes, from Kaiser Permanente to seed-stage startups. Most recently, I spent 5 years at Stitch Fix leading design for their styling platform.* I am pragmatic, but I also deeply value aesthetics. On nights and weekends: reading, painting silly things that make me happy, and testing all of the waffle recipes.

*Note: most of my past work is under NDA, please get in touch for more details.

Stitch Fix

San Francisco, CA // September 2015 – April 2020

Stitch Fix is a personalized styling service driven by a blend of human curation and AI.  For almost five years, I led the design of the styling platform—the nexus where client, stylist, and data science combine to create successful Fixes for millions of clients yearly—and oversaw a complete platform redesign during my tenure. Major focus areas: making complex expert-use workflows feel simple, designing recommender systems to encourage user trust and adoption.

Redshift Digital

San Francisco, CA // September 2013 – August 2015

Redshift Digital (acquired by Blink in 2019) is an award-winning design studio where I worked as a lead product designer for clients including Google, OpenTable, Kaiser Permanente, Tyler Florence, Reviver.io, and Groupon— to name a few.

Domus Academy

Milan, Italy // September 2012 - July 2013

I spent a year in Milan earning an MBD (Master’s in Business Design), a hybrid degree that applies design thinking to business problems—a framework similar to that of Stanford’s d.school. My thesis project was Suma, a financial planning app leveraging behavioral economics principles to encourage better decisions around savings and investments.
